About the role
Using creative and resourceful strategies and processes to ensure a learning environment that supports flexible learner centred opportunities across portfolios and programs
Responsible for delivery of the Emergency Care Assessment and Treatment (ECAT) and Transition to Speciality Practice (TTSP) programs in collaboration with the Nurse Manager of Emergency and Nurse Manager of Education
Evaluate learning experiences and programs in relation to learning needs and nursing outcomes working to enhance the skills and knowledge of emergency nursing and other clinical staff in the clinical environment
Leads the sustainable integration of ECAT and TTSP into the emergency nursing career pathway and drives the development of a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing in partnership with an education provider
The Graduate Certificate program will formalise the clinical education pathway for emergency nurses enhance academic recognition and strengthen workforce capability and retention across emergency care settings
About you
Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency
Relevant post-graduate education qualifications or relevant post- graduate clinical qualifications in emergency nursing with a Cert IV in Training and Assessment (or significant progression toward)
Demonstrated ability to develop implement manage and evaluate educational programs
Work collaboratively within the interdisciplinary team using effective advanced communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a nurse educator
Demonstrated knowledge and application of QI principles research and best practice principles
