      Who are we

      The NDIS Partners in the Community Program (PITC) supports the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to be implemented locally.
      As an NDIA partner Northcott will deliver the NDIS Early Childhood Approach (ECA) service to local communities in Northern NSW Mid North Coast Hunter New England North Sydney and Western Sydney. The EC approach supports activities that improve the independence and social participation of children aged 0-9 with developmental delay and/or disability.

      What This Role Offers Me:

      In this role I will lead a passionate team of Early Childhood Coordinators who work directly with families to support children with disability or developmental delays. I will use my knowledge and leadership to make a real differenceguiding my team to deliver supports that help children build independence confidence and social connections.

      What You Will Be Doing

      As a Team Leader I will guide and support coordinators to:

      • I will bring a diploma or higher skillset in either Early Childhood Allied Health Social Work or a related field to the workplace.
      • As a Team Leader I will guide and support coordinators to:
        • Work directly with families to understand their childs needs and strengths.
        • Observe children in their natural environments to assess developmental progress.
        • Develop and recommend strategies that enhance a childs independence and participation.
        • Support families in identifying goals and connecting with appropriate service providers.
        • Monitor outcomes and adjust supports to meet the needs of families and children best.
        • Build strong relationships across communities and services to create inclusive pathways.
