The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for maintaining precise up-to-date credentialing records and overseeing timely background checks license verifications and credential compliance. This role manages substantial volume demands while supporting cross-functional needs across multiple business units.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Initiate the on boarding process by ensuring accurate updates in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and timely distribution of required documents to new clinicians.
- Credentialing Specialists ensures all credentialing activities comply with state federal and Joint Commission standards.
- Oversee the accurate management retrieval and verification of clinician documentation across internal databases and client platforms maintaining a high level of data integrity.
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality and regulatory standards by verifying credentials such as licenses education employment history and background checks.
- Communicate directly with clinicians to provide guidance on credentialing requirements address questions and support timely renewals by proactively managing upcoming expirations exams and related documentation.
- Proactively track and manage expiring credentials send timely reminders and ensure all compliance documentation is current.
- Conduct regular credentialing and sanction checks ensuring that client systems are updated and compliance is maintained.
- Support reporting efforts by preparing weekly and monthly reports on credentialing status assisting with audit documentation as needed.
- Generate reports to track expiring credentials update systems and assign assessments or schedule clinic visits to maintain compliance.
- Initiate pull notices for expired credentials or client requests ensuring swift compliance action.
- Serve as a backup for credentialing activities during team member absences ensuring no interruptions in service.
- Communicate effectively with Credentialing Team Team Leaders and Recruiters to resolve any compliance or renewal concerns.
- Actively participate in cross-training to ensure flexibility and seamless operational support across the credentialing team.
- Assist in mentoring and training new team members providing guidance and support to ensure consistent onboarding and credentialing practices.

Qualifications :
QUALIFICATIONS:
- One year of experience in data collection data entry and reporting.
- Prior experience managing and tracking expiring credentials such as licenses certifications etc.
- Prior experience in healthcare staffing compliance or a related HR field is preferred.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicants background experience skills internal equity and alignment with geographical market data.
Salary Min: 29000 PHP monthly: Max 35000 PHP monthly
