Enhances and maintains a properly functioning revenue cycle process through a cross department organizational structure.
Team Leadership: Leads and mentors a team of Epic analysts and other staff providing guidance on system configuration issue resolution and process improvements.
Develop and execute comprehensive short-term and long-term revenue cycle goals and objectives aligned with organizational strategies.
Oversee all aspects of the ambulatory revenue cycle process including patient eligibility billing claims management accounts receivable and collections.
Lead the billing team to ensure timely and accurate billing for services provided.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue cycle and HIM performance and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with all relevant federal and state regulations including HIPAA & ICD-10.
Stakeholder Engagement: Serves as a liaison between the organizations needs and Epic technical services staff communicating with stakeholders on project status and issues.
Manage and develop a high-performing team of revenue cycle professionals.
Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Evaluate and implement new revenue cycle technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
