What does a successful Software Development Engineering - Professional II do at fiserv

• As a senior developer you will work as part of team to design develop test and maintain Java based applications that leverage with Oracle Database.
• The candidate should possess strong foundation in Java programming and Oracle technologies.

What will you do:

• Write clean efficient and maintainable Java code.
• Assist in designing and implementing software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and debugging.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams.

What will you need to know:

• Looking for Bachelors Degree in computer science engineering or related field.
• 7 years of experience as a Tech Lead or senior developer.
• Knowledge of core Java/J2EE concepts and programming of databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Java Development tools and IDEs.
• Familiarity with tools and frameworks viz Git JIRA Jenkins Kafka.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Full stack developer experience in digital tech stack e.g. HTML CSS Java Script Core Java Springboot Scala React Angular PostgreSQL Cockroach etc.
• Strong experience in developing APIs and Micro Services on cloud. Experience with tools and frameworks such as Jenkins Maven GitLab JIRA SonarQube TDD/BDD Docker & Kubernetes Kafka

What would be great to have:

• Ability to speak write and read in English (advanced intermediate level).
• Agile development experience.
