How youll be part of the action
As a Cloud Security Engineer youll play a key role in keeping Tabcorps cloud environments secure and resilient. Reporting to the Lead Security Engineer youll design and maintain security controls across AWS Azure and maybe even Oracle Cloud (OCI). Youll collaborate with project teams embed security into new initiatives and drive automation to make our operations smarter and safer.
- Create and maintain guardrails for secure cloud configurations
- Deploy and validate security controls across AWS and Azure environments
- Assist in building secure cloud solutions for new projects and data centre initiatives
- Integrate cloud security with monitoring and incident response processes
- Identify automation opportunities to streamline security operations
- Collaborate with teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions aligned with compliance standards

You enjoy working across teams solving problems through collaboration and applying modern engineering practices to keep cloud environments safe and resilient.
- Experienced in securing AWS and Azure cloud platforms with expertise in designing resilient AWS environments
- Proven ability to implement cloud-native security services tools and automation
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code and DevSecOps practices
- Certifications preferred: AWS Certified Security Specialty and AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate (or Professional)
- Ability to integrate security with SIEM/SOAR and incident response workflows
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks and regulatory obligations with excellent communication skills to convey complex security concepts
