The Role:
We are seeking a motivated organised and dynamic Fundraising Co-ordinator to lead the development and delivery of our fundraising initiatives. You will be responsible for coordinating campaigns donor engagement grant applications and community events helping to secure income streams that sustain our programs and services.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and as part of the Executive Team this role provides the opportunity to make a strategic impact while working with a supportive and values-driven team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement annual fundraising plans and strategies aligned with organisational goals.
Coordinate fundraising campaigns community events and donor appeals.
Identify research and pursue grants philanthropic partnerships and sponsorships.
Manage grant application processes and reporting in collaboration with program managers.
Build and maintain relationships with donors partners and sponsors.
Coordinate donor communications and stewardship activities to ensure positive engagement and retention.
Maintain accurate records of donations and fundraising income and manage donation receipting.
Collaborate with the Communications Officer to integrate fundraising messaging across campaigns.
Prepare case studies and impact reports to demonstrate outcomes to supporters.
Contribute to organisational planning strategic initiatives and Executive Team discussions.
Selection Criteria:
Essential:
Demonstrated experience in fundraising donor relations or grant writing within the not-for-profit or community sector.
Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to prepare compelling funding proposals and reports.
Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with donors partners and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small high-performing team.
Desirable:
Experience with digital fundraising tools CRM systems or social media campaigns.
Knowledge of the community services sector and social impact measurement.
Experience coordinating community events or engagement initiatives.
