POSITION CONCEPT
Provide analytical and administrative support for category management and sourcing activities. Assist in preparing sourcing events analyzing supplier proposals and maintaining accurate procurement data.
PRIMARY DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect and analyze spend data supplier metrics market trends
- Prepare reports and dashboards
- Assist in drafting RFQs/RFPs and bid packages
- Maintain contract records and process amendments
- Support day-to-day supplier communication
- Verify supplier compliance and maintain audit-ready documentation
- Identify opportunities to streamline data management and reporting
- Escalate complex problems to Category Specialist or Manager
SUPERVISION
Direct Supervision: None
Indirect Supervision: Cross-functional teams contractors suppliers
RELATIONSHIPS
Key Internal: Category Managers Specialists Engineering Operations
Key External: Suppliers Contractors
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Required: Bachelors degree in business supply chain or related field
Preferred: Specify if applicable
Licenses/Certifications
Required: Specify if applicable
Preferred: CPSM CIPS or working toward certification
Experience
Required: 3 years of procurement or supply chain experience
Preferred: Experience with eSourcing tools
Supervisory Experience
Required: Specify if applicable
Preferred: Optional
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (KSA)
Required: Analytical and Excel skills familiarity with ERP systems detail-oriented organizational and communication skills
Preferred: Basic understanding of procurement regulations and contract terms
