Work Setup: Hybrid (approximately 60% onsite and 40% remote at HSBC offices)
Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Project Manager to lead and deliver infrastructure transformation initiatives within the financial services sector. This role focuses on executing end-to-end infrastructure migrations ensuring cost-effective supportable and business-aligned solutions while working closely with technical teams and senior stakeholders.
What you will do:
- Deliver infrastructure projects across the full lifecycle from initiation through implementation.
- Ensure all project activities meet financial services standards controls and compliance requirements.
- Develop maintain and track project plans schedules budgets and risk registers.
- Coordinate technical teams to produce robust supportable solution designs and recovery documentation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide best-practice guidance.
- Manage third-party vendors ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of services.
- Oversee project governance reporting and communication across all levels of the organization.
- Proactively identify issues drive resolutions and manage competing priorities under tight timelines.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of systems architecture operational processes and enterprise-level environments.
- OpenShift experience must have.
- Prior HSBC experience good to have.
- Excellent organizational communication and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Professional project management certification (e.g. PMP PRINCE2) is required.
