We are hiring a Team Leader to support our Chargeback and Payment Operations team in India. This is a hands-on operational role focused onprovidingdaily guidance implementing procedures and ensuring smooth execution of chargeback and dispute workflows. The Team Leader will serve as the main point of contact for the local team and act as both an escalationpointfor team members and a representative to escalate issues to management. This position reports to the Manager overseeing chargeback and dispute operations across threePayoneerhubs.
Core Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the India-based Chargeback and Payment Operations team.
- Providedaily operational guidance and ensure adherence toestablishedprocedures.
- Coordinate andmonitortask execution related to chargebacks fraud alerts and payment disputes.
- Serve as an escalation point for team members and escalate issues to the Manager as needed.
- Support the implementation of new processes and updates to existing workflows.
- Facilitate communication between the local team and global stakeholders including Risk Compliance Customer Care and Tech Services.
- Assistwith onboarding and training of new team members.
- Share feedback and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay informed on relevant operational and regulatory updates.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in chargeback and dispute handling huge advantage.
- Prior experience in team leadership or supervisory roles in operationsa must.
- Highproficiencyin English (spoken and written).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to deliver clear engaging and professional presentations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead with empathy accountability and a results-driven approach.
