Hours: Monday - Friday / 9:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. (Hybrid Work)
Summary:
The Sales Executive will generate new revenue from existing and new sales accounts focusing primarily on retail beauty and food verticals as well as promotional and event groups within any organization.
Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Client Engagement
Prospect self-generated leads through internal and external market research
Secure in-person meetings both locally and remotely
Generate and present compelling proposals to potential clients
Sales Management
Manage orders throughout the sales cycle while interfacing with U.S. and overseas manufacturing facilities
Achieve annual quotas for sales revenue and gross profit
Maintain final responsibility for accounts receivable as performance-based income depends on timely invoice payments
Travel and Networking
Participate in out-of-town travel expected to be 4-6 trips annually
Attend out-of-state business meetings and relevant trade shows
Product Knowledge and Reporting
Develop a thorough understanding of product manufacturing through initial and ongoing training
Maintain organized contact records and present sales reports during bi-weekly sales calls
Professional Development
Continuously improve sales techniques and product knowledge
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
Qualifications/Requirement:
Minimum 4 years of B2B sales experience with proven record of profitable sales.
Customer service /Meeting sales goals / Negotiation / Presentation skills / Client relationships / Client relationships)
Familiarity with office software and phone systems
The ideal candidate has 4-6 years in the retail packaging and/or food packaging industries with a proven record of budget attainment and portfolio of accounts able to accompany the candidate upon hire.
