Mid-Level Acquisition Specialist

In anticipation of a contract award we are looking for a Mid-LevelAcquisition Specialist to join our team.

Work Location:This position will be performedon site in Camp Springs MD. Seventh Sense will support your commute by contributing over $1500 annually to your Transportation FSA.

What Youll Do:

• Carry out predetermined and recurring tasks in direct support of the government clientscontracting office.
• Provide full life cycle cradle to grave contract planning support and administration.
• Provide support functions that may include acquisition planning purchase order/procurement request support documentation preparation solicitation preparation market research/analysis source selection and administration of terms and conditions negotiation and preparation of contract award and modifications cost/price analysis support government in the evaluation of contractor performance contract administration support contract termination and contract close-out.

• Bachelors degree and at least 24 hours in business-related courses in any of the following fields: accounting business finance law contracts purchasing economics industrial management marketing quantitative methods or organization and management.
• 7 years of related Contracts/Acquisition experience -depth working knowledge of federal procurement regulations and policies and be knowledgeable and experienced using electronic media including Microsoft Office (Word Excel PPT etc.).
• Experience working within a DoD / DoW contracting environment.
• Excellent writing skills and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Knowledgeable of and experienced workingwith the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and DFARS.
• Documented proficiency withcontract writing systems such as PRISM PD2 and/or CLM.
