Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Director of Emergency Services to lead a high-volume Emergency Department within a 370-bed acute care hospital in downtown San Antonio. This role oversees a 29-bed ER (with planned expansion) 50000 annual visits and a team of 100 staff supported by 2 Managers and CNCs.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Nursing BSN (Required).
Masters Degree (Preferred).
1 years leadership experience in Emergency Services (Required).
3 years leadership experience in Emergency Services (Preferred).
Experience managing high-volume ER operations (Preferred).
Responsibilities:
Oversee clinical operational and staffing functions for a large Emergency Department.
Ensure safe efficient patient flow and high-quality patient-centered care.
Lead departmental forecasting budgeting planning and throughput initiatives.
Maintain regulatory readiness accreditation standards and evidence-based practice.
Support expansion planning and strategic growth of the ER.
Foster a strong team culture and maintain high employee-engagement metrics.
Direct staffing scheduling position control and productivity management.
Drive patient experience improvements and operational excellence.
Benefits:
