We are seeking an experienced energetic and process-focused Director of Human Resources for Luxer One and our Secure Lockers Group (SLG). This position will lead Human Resources (HR) for all of SLG report to the President of the SLG and have a reporting relationship to the Commercial Segment Vice President Human Resources.
The desire to create progressive best practice people development initiatives while interacting with the organizational leaders to drive workplace change is essential for this role.
As Director of Human Resources you will provide professional support to the day-to-day operations of the subgroup and will have the opportunity to partner with key stakeholders to ensure the organizations HR requirements and needs are met and the HR strategy is effectively implemented.
What you will be doing:
Partner with the Secure Lockers Group President and leadership team to build and execute the organizations HR and talent strategy including talent acquisition employee engagement performance management people development and policies.
Guide the HR team managers and staff when complex specialized and sensitive questions and issues arise. You may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations investigating allegations of wrongdoing and terminations.
Lead the ongoing management of HR analytics projects. Areas include recruiting employee lifecycle retention turnover compensation benefits performance management and the integration of HR data into other analytical areas.
Maintain compliance with federal state and local employment laws regulations and best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Develop lead and implement Subgroup-wide HR initiatives and programs to ensure alignment with business requirements.
Partner with the ASSA ABLOY and local HR leadership to ensure compliance and success with company HR policies procedures and programs.
Lead cultural changes necessary to support a high-performing and growing organization ensuring that processes and systems are in place and followed.
Requirements
The skills and experience you need:
Bachelors degree (or higher) in Human Resources or relevant working history along with 10 years of experience in a leadership-level Human Resources role within a multisite organization
Effective and clear verbal and written communication skills
Strong time management and project management skills
An analytical mindset: able to break down large problems develop multiple approaches to solutions and deliver data-driven insights
Broad generalist HR skills across a range of populations (professional and manufacturing) with increasing responsibility and proven experience and results in recruiting and developing talent both professional and manufacturing
Ability to travel up to 30%
Proactive self-starter with a natural tendency to take initiative and work independently
Strong judgment and critical thinking skills
A collaborative partner and change leader who quickly builds trust by showing discretion and establishing strong business and technology acumen
