No. of Beds in Department: 14 emergency department beds

EMR System: Cerner

Office Equipment Available: Fully equipped emergency department

Specialty Backup Available: Inpatient and surgical services

Support Staff Available: APP coverage 12 hours per day

Reason for Coverage: Staffing coverage

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

Presentation Requirements: Active Florida license board certification preferred active DEA and CSR if required

Emergency department evaluations and management

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active Florida medical license

Board: Board Certification preferred in Emergency Medicine

DEA: Active DEA required

Certifications: As required for emergency medicine privileges

Experience: Emergency medicine experience required

Other Qualifications: Ability to manage a broad range of emergency conditions

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide emergency medical care in a community emergency department

Manage acute and emergent patient presentations

Respond to rapid response events and codes

Collaborate with APPs and hospital staff

Document all patient care accurately and timely
