You may know us for our famous low fares but did you also know that weve flown more than 400 million customers since we launched in Australia in 2004 In fact each week we operate around 3000 flights to nearly 40 destinations across Australia New Zealand Asia and the Pacific. We also operate a fleet of more than 80 aircraft including state-of-the-art Airbus A320/21 NEO aircraft and the Airbus A320 family and Boeing 787-8s. Every day we enable more people to takeoff to more places more often.
As the Delivery Lead Project Amazon you will transform our supply chain by implementing best-in-class tools and connected processes. Leveraging big data and advanced analytics we will deliver accurate forecasting routine cost control and operational efficiency across the business.
The Delivery lead will support the effective governance of projects through the accurate tracking and communication of financial schedule risks and issues to product owners project sponsors steering committees and senior stakeholders.
This role typically manages large (both costs and resource levels) and more complex projects with requiring Senior Stakeholder Management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Management of projects (in an Agile or Waterfall framework) to support the delivery of project objectives in alignment with Product Owners expectations
- Manage the development of mandatory and agreed project deliverables to defined quality standards
- Align project delivery to the Jetstar Project Delivery framework
- Develop and manage a project schedule and baseline to support task management deliverable timing and milestone timing
- Responsible for leading the delivery of end-to-end solutions within an Agile delivery model. This includes all aspects of the solution including architecture solution design build test implementation integration with upstream/downstream systems
- Establish and maintain the project forecast in alignment with agreed budget
What You Will Bring:
- Minimum 5 years Project Management experience in a corporate environment
- Strong Agile project delivery skills/experience
- Exposure to various project management delivery models such as Scrum Kanban and waterfall
- Proven experience in the end to end delivery of more than five technical projects with spend of more than $500K
- Experience in managing project teams in excess of 6 people
- Prince2 or PMbok certification
- Agile/Scrum certification
- Business or Technology degree
- Strong communications skills (verbal written presentations)
- Good people management and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Agile collaboration tools eg JIRA/Confluence
- Solid financial management skills including familiarity with ROI & NPV analysis
