We are recruiting on behalf of a client seeking a highly skilled Audit Specialist (CIT) to join their team within the Service & Delivery Large & International division. This permanent position is based in Woodmead Durban or Cape Town offering an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to national compliance objectives while advancing your professional expertise.
Key Requirements
- Relevant bachelors degree or Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) with 810 years Corporate CIT experience including 34 years at operational specialist level
OR
Senior Certificate (NQF 4) with 15 years Corporate CIT experience including 34 years at operational specialist level - Strong analytical and report-writing capability
- Proven experience conducting complex CIT audits across multiple periods
- Ability to provide high-level technical guidance and advice
- Strong organisational awareness and problem-solving ability
- Exceptional attention to detail accountability and integrity
- Ability to communicate with clarity authority and professionalism
Key Duties
- Independently plan conduct and finalise complex CIT audits
- Provide authoritative advice and guidance during audit execution
- Identify risks analyse business information and produce detailed audit reports
- Detect non-compliance raise credible assessments and contribute to revenue collection
- Recommend improvements to systems processes and legislative frameworks
- Support debt collection processes by supplying accurate audit information
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide training technical support and mentorship to team members
- Participate in governance practices ensuring compliance within the practice area
- Optimise processes and implement best-practice initiatives
- Contribute to strategic compliance initiatives and identify opportunities for improved enforcement
