Job Summary

The Talent Specialist role ensures that our talent acquisition processes are effectively managed to ensure that Labournets recruitment processes are followed in such a way that we attract and hire the right talent at the right time. It engages with various managers to understand business needs develops documents and improves processes and facilitates end-to-end recruitment.

You are responsible for
Inclusive of but not limited to:

Recruitment Process:

  • Full 360 recruitment encompasses the end-to-end hiring process including workforce planning sourcing screening interviewing offer negotiation onboarding and post-placement follow-up to ensure successful integration and retention.
  • Plan and implement the companys talent acquisition strategy for the Labournet Group.
  • Execute the companys policy for talent benchmarking talent assessment and interviewing of the Labournet Group.
  • Document and update processes to ensure that the recruitment department operates in a scalable manner

Attraction:

  • Ensure proactive meetings with various managers to understand the talent pipelining needs for various business units
  • Create and implement an effective attraction framework per product stream/department that ensures active pipeline building with the aim of filling all vacancies within 21 working days.

Reporting:

  • All relevant statistical data is updated on a weekly basis to ensure the effectiveness of each step of the recruitment cycle.
  • Highlight and action any deadlines that are not being met with the applicable parties on a weekly basis.
  • Quarterly review of the recruitment process to add/change any process and measure its effectiveness.

Advertisements:

  • Create a library of advertisements for all positions on software portals
  • All adverts are placed on the same day as receiving the approved requisition
  • Place adverts on all suitable platforms (including Pnet LinkedIn Smartrecruiters).
  • All vacancies must be advertised internally and placed on the intranet.
  • All adverts must be removed from all the different sites after the role has been successfully filled.

Ad Hoc Projects:

  • Participate in various projects to improve the Talent Acquisition strategy and framework over time.

Salary: RTBC CTC per month

Qualifications :

Youll need a customer-first mindset and the following skills to succeed in this role:

  • Grade 12
  • National Diploma/Degree or equivalent in Human Resource Management
  • 3 years of end-to-end recruitment experience preferably within a recruitment agency or internal 
  • Experience in social media recruitment
  • Experience partnering with managers interviewers and team members throughout the recruitment process
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) 
  • Must be able to effectively function within a pressurised and fast paced environment
