Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker

Pay Rate: Up to 36000 (depending on experience) 6000 sleep ins
Job Description:
Liquid Personnel are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to join its clients residential care team for children and young people. This role involves providing high-quality care leading shifts and supporting the development of both residents and staff within a therapeutic environment.
What will your responsibilities be
- Lead and supervise shifts ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Provide direct care and emotional support to children and young people.
- Act as a role model promoting positive behaviours and independence.
- Support staff through guidance mentoring and on-the-job training.
- Assist with care planning risk assessments and record-keeping.
- Respond to challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- Work collaboratively with external professionals and agencies.

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have
- Previous experience in residential childcare (minimum 12 years).
- NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People or equivalent (essential).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work shifts including evenings weekends and sleep-ins.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare.
