Engage with and support employees department managers and supervisors by providing guidance and interpretation of employment law and human resources practices.
Develop and implement trainings for department managers and supervisors on a variety of human resources topics.
Create and implement department programs that support County-wide initiatives including equity and social justice continuous improvement employee engagement and employee development.
Perform other duties within the scope and level of responsibility.
Experience in core human resources operations with a proven ability to support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives policies and programs; or a combination of education and experience that clearly demonstrates the capability to perform the responsibilities of the role at a senior level.
Demonstrated success advising senior and executive leadership on complex high-impact human resources issues organizational initiatives and policy decisions.
Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service providing expert guidance and building strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
Exceptional ability to manage high-volume competing priorities while maintaining accuracy clarity and strategic focus in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency and demonstrated expertise in the NEOGOV applicant tracking system.
Strong working knowledge and proficiency with PeopleSoft.
