Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic proactive and highly capable Human Resources Generalist to support and enhance all aspects of HR operations across the organization. The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to people leaders employees and cross-functional teams ensuring alignment of HR practices with organizational goals and compliance with federal/state employment laws. This role is critical in driving employee engagement organizational effectiveness and a positive company culture.
The HR Generalist will manage a broad spectrum of human resources functions including but not limited to performance management employee relations HR compliance HR analytics onboarding/offboarding and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries.
- Conduct investigations and resolve employee relations issues objectively and consistently.
- Advise leadership on performance improvement plans disciplinary actions and corrective actions.
Performance & Talent Management
- Partner with managers to support performance appraisal cycles and career development planning.
- Provide coaching and guidance on performance management and succession planning initiatives.
HR Policy & Compliance
- Ensure consistent application and communication of HR policies procedures and best practices.
- Maintain compliance with federal/state employment laws (e.g. FMLA ADA EEO etc.).
- Update HR policies and employee handbook as needed.
HR Operations & Analytics
- Manage HRIS records reporting and HR metrics dashboards.
- Produce HR analytics to support decisions around turnover retention performance and engagement.
Engagement & Culture
- Recommend and support employee engagement retention and recognition programs.
- Help lead training initiatives (e.g. compliance training leadership skill building).
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Coordinate and conduct onboarding and orientation activities.
- Support exit interviews and offboarding processes.
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field required.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience in generalist or business partner capacity.
- Proven experience in employee relations performance management and HR compliance.
- Aerospace or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
Professional Certifications
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency with MS Excel and HR systems (e.g. HRIS/Paycom).
- Ability to analyze data and generate meaningful insights.
Core Competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ethical standards and ability to handle sensitive information.
- Effective problem-solving analytical and organizational abilities.
- High level of initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Additional Information :
Compensation: Annual base pay range is $95000- $120000 depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical dental and vision insurance plans along with a generous 401(k) retirement addition to base salary employees are eligible for a year-end bonus. SEAKR offers a variety of paid leave such as vacation sick bereavement and FMLA.
