Human Resources Assistant

We are seeking a professional and organized Human Resources Specialist to join our team in this role you will serve as a support function within our HR department performing recruitment onboarding and administrative HR functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills attention to detail and a commitment to supporting our employees and organizational goals.

• Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings candidate screening interview scheduling and onboarding of new employees
• Maintain and update employee records ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements
• Provide support to employees regarding HR policies benefits and workplace procedures in a professional and empathetic manner
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies through proper documentation and record-keeping
• Respond to employee inquiries and resolve HR-related issues in a timely and supportive manner
• Prepare HR reports and maintain HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data

**Required Qualifications:**

• HRIS experience required; WORKDAY highly desirable 

• People Person; outgoing

• 2-3 years of experience in a Human Resources role or related HR function
• Strong knowledge of HR practices employment law and compliance requirements
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse groups of employees

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• Professional HR certification (PHR SHRM-CP or equivalent)
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
