Job Summary
Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - Oncology
Summary:
Join a dedicated team in Williston North Dakota where we seek an oncology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver exceptional patient care at our cancer center. This outpatient medical oncology setting provides an opportunity to work collaboratively with a talented staff enhancing patient experiences in a thriving community.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct complete staging workups for oncology patients.
- Formulate and initiate chemotherapy or immunotherapy treatments in collaboration with Radiation Oncology and Surgical Oncology.
- Provide oversight for the clinical aspect of treatment delivery and infusions.
- Coordinate patient care across regional health systems when necessary.
- Work effectively with experienced support staff including clinic and infusion RNs and specialty providers.
- Manage a patient load of 8-10 patients per clinic day.
- Participate in procedures such as bone marrow biopsies (experience preferred but not required).
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in relevant field.
- North Dakota License or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) - highly preferred; non-licensed candidates willing to obtain a ND license will be considered.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Registered with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
- Clean malpractice record is highly preferred.
- Availability coinciding with name clearance process.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must possess a valid ND License or be eligible for licensure in ND.
- DEA registration is required.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
