Role: Customer Service Representative

About the Role: The Customer Service Representative will handle inbound calls and emails for customers navigating shipping timelines freight updates delivery issues and after-purchase inquiries. This role requires a calm thoughtful communicator with excellent English and the ability to guide customers through complex delivery scenarios with professionalism.
Core Responsibilities
- Customer Communication: Manage inbound calls and emails with empathy clarity and confidence.
- Delivery Support: Assist customers experiencing delivery delays weather impacts or freight issues.
- Timeline Management: Provide accurate delivery expectations and next steps.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot concerns and escalate when appropriate.
- Cross Functional Coordination: Work closely with internal teams and freight partners.
- Brand Representation: Maintain a polished premium customer presence at all times.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Location: Based in South Africa with strong neutral English.
- Customer Service Background: Experience in high touch or high pressure support roles.
- Phone Presence: Confident patient and consultative.
- Adaptability: Ability to think quickly and respond to dynamic delivery conditions.
- Organizational Skills: Strong documentation and follow through.
Preferred (Bonus Points):
- Experience supporting US based customers.
- Experience working with freight logistics or high value consumer products.
