Lean Expert

dormakaba Bulgaria is looking for Lean Expert who will drive continuous improvement initiatives across production processes to enhance efficiency reduce waste and improve quality. This role collaborates with production supply chain and quality teams to implement Lean methodologies and foster a culture of operational excellence.

A job that matters: your tasks

• Identify analyze and implement process improvements using Lean principles (5S Kaizen Value Stream Mapping Kanban etc.).
• Lead and support continuous improvement projects across multiple production lines or plants.
• Work closely with production teams to eliminate waste optimize workflows and improve overall plant efficiency.
• Conduct training workshops and coaching sessions to promote Lean culture throughout the organization.
• Develop and maintain performance metrics dashboards and reports to monitor operational efficiency.
• Implement standardized work procedures and visual management systems.
• Support the integration of Lean principles in new processes equipment and systems.
• Facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) and problem-solving sessions to address operational issues.
• Benchmark and adopt best practices from industry and other plants.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with supply chain quality engineering and maintenance teams.
• Assist in planning and prioritizing improvement initiatives based on business impact.
• Lead or participate in audits to ensure compliance with Lean and operational excellence standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement encouraging employees to contribute ideas for efficiency and quality improvements.
