What youll do:

On our mission to improve developer experience at SAP we are looking for somebody like you. We will provide integrated product management solutions to SAP Engineering targeting 3.500 product managers at SAP. The product management solution will support the harmonized product operating model in SAP Engineering comprising all stages from Feedback to Delivery.

AsData Engineering Expert with Focus on Data Science you will be part of the Hyperspace Product Management Solutions team in Sofia. The team will have a further location in Walldorf. The team will be working with experts from SAP Engineering around the world like product managers UX designers and architects.

We are looking for team players with excellent communication skills that can drill into complex technical challenges but also explain them to non-techies in a crisp way.

Our unitis responsible for defining the data products (focus will lie on derived data products) together with business stakeholders as well as data scientists. This will lead to a scalable well defined analytical landscape that allows our business stakeholders to consume the data that they want when they want and to move to an insight driven business decision process.

We use the right data for decision-making and also continuously align our Product Management solutions with technical innovations as well as overall cooperate strategy.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Drive the roadmap forProduct Management Solutions Analyticsensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
• Champion data-driven and product-led methodologies to drive growth through customer insights and usage data
• Define data products together with business stakeholders as well as data scientists on the Databricks as well as SAP Datasphere layer (all part of SAP Business Data Cloud)
• Create and proof hypothesis about value generated by the implementation of the Product Management solution and respective correlations
• Work with product owner to prioritize features and capabilities of the product based on customers needs business value and technical feasibility
• Support business stakeholders to adopt the existing data products to suffice their reporting needs by introducing new technologies.
• Drive data product adoption and customer success through effective communication and support
• Manage data products as well as its governance through controlling access and context to ensure secure distribution across the entire SAP ecosystem.
• Understand the data and leverage data insights through hardening models via e.g. the AutoML capability from Databricks
• Assessing scalability as well as performance of the Product Management solution

What you bring:

• Masters degree in computer science business informatics data science statistics or comparable qualification in related field.
• Proven experience in Data Analytics or Data Science preferably in data platform or cloud solutions.

• Strategic thinking & excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data driven mindset.
• Creating data structures as well as clear and interactive dashboards and reports to communicate complex data to stakeholders
• Applying advanced computational methods statistical modeling and machine learning to generate ingishts and predictions to identify trends patterns and opportunities
• Leader and team player give guidance and show excellent coordination skills including conflict management
• Quick learner passionate motivated and self-managed
• 7 years of professional working experiencein Data & Analyticswith advanced knowledge about how to apply Data Science methodology
• Experience in definition of metrics and KPIs

• Team player with clear written and spoken communication.
• Quality mindset and the ability to follow quality standards.
• Experience in Databricks SAP Datasphere and Collibra is a plus
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Very good English written and spoken.
