Supervise monthly payroll activities and coordinate with HR payroll vendors and
business units.
Review payroll reports journal entries reconciliations and manage stock-based
compensation accounting.
General Accounting (IGAAP)
Oversee month-end close activities and review financial statements for significant
movements.
Support statutory internal and compliance audits.
Compliance
Ensure Companies Act compliance manage MCA filings XBRL reporting and other
statutory filings.
Coordinate board/AGM documentation and liaise with consultants.
Taxation
Direct Tax: Manage corporate tax computations provisions filings and coordinate
with consultants for transfer pricing and tax returns.
Indirect Tax: Provide oversight and support for GST compliance.
General
Drive process improvements using AI tools.
Provide guidance to the team and collaborate with US/local stakeholders on
accounting projects.
Requirements
Qualifications
Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional qualification.
8 years of experience in accounting payroll and compliance.
Strong knowledge of IGAAP Companies Act and tax regulations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Office; experience with AI-driven tools is
a plus.
