Are you an experienced finance professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic industry Carlson Construction Group a trusted name in heavy civil and marine construction is seeking a detail-driven and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our growing finance team. Location: North Vancouver BC

Type: Full-Time Permanent

Start Date: January 2026.


What Youll Do:

  • Oversee the full-cycle Accounts Receivable (AR) process including invoicing payment application and collections.
  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and proactively follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Reconcile AR ledgers to ensure all payments are accurately recorded and posted.
  • Partner with project managers and internal teams to resolve billing issues and support financial reporting.
  • Generate and distribute AR aging reports and assist with month-end close activities.
  • Maintain precise records of AR transactions in Acumatica ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Experience in T&M billings
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing and providing necessary documentation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to automation initiatives.
  • Other ad hoc duties as requested to support the Finance team.

What You Bring:

  • 23 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a related finance role.
  • Familiarity with Acumatica or similar ERP systems is a strong asset.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables VLOOKUP).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A collaborative mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.
