Commercial Account Manager
Location: Calgary Alberta

About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a motivated and client-focused Commercial Account Manager to join their growing team in Calgary. This role is ideal for a commercial insurance professional who enjoys managing relationships identifying growth opportunities and delivering exceptional service to a diverse commercial client base. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting and expanding the commercial portfolio while contributing to overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and retention
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients insurers and internal stakeholders
Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to support organic growth
Analyze client needs and market trends to recommend appropriate coverage solutions
Collaborate closely with sales marketing and internal teams to support commercial initiatives
Utilize the Broker Management System (BMS) to manage client interactions documentation and reporting
Prepare and maintain accurate reports related to account performance and market activity
Support negotiations and renewals while ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in a commercial insurance role such as Commercial Account Manager or similar
Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and coverage structures
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proactive solution-oriented mindset with a client-first approach
