Job Summary
Job Description
Our client is seeking a database administrator to join their IT team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee database installation tuning troubleshooting patching backup and recovery activities.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in databases to support application and project teams.
- Manage database-related security compliance and capacity planning.
- Provide incident and after-hours support as needed.
- Maintain technical and reference documentation.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC DataGuard and OEM Exadata.
- Support experience with MongoDB and MSSQL is highly preferred.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science.
- Oracle Certified Professional certification is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of solid DBA experience.
- Knowledge of Unix Linux Windows and MS Office.
- Familiarity with Oracle MongoDB and MSSQL.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL and Unix scripts.
- Ability to communicate in both technical and general contexts.
- Good written and spoken English and Chinese
