Jockey Club Sarah Roe School (JCSRS) is a unique and vibrant learning community. We are seeking a self-motivated and organisedPTA and Communications Administrator to provide essential administrative support to the school and the JCSRS PTA. This role serves as a vital liaison between the school parents and the wider community.

Main Responsibilities:

  • PTA & Administrative Support: Manage PTA Committee operations including meeting arrangements documentation and handling all correspondence. Process all financial transactions and coordinate with other staff on PTA-related purchases procurements and fundraising. Provide liaison between parents school staff other PTA staff within the ESF network and the wider community.
  • Communication & Media: Draft edit and publish engaging content for social media (LinkedIn Facebook) the school website and newsletters. Ensure consistent messaging by working with internal teams and external stakeholders. Support school teams in utilising media tools.
  • Event & General Coordination: Support planning and coordination of events both large- and small-scale including volunteer coordination. Organise parent information events and assist the senior leadership team with various administrative projects.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will be a people-oriented professional with an excellent command of written and spoken English. You must be able to work autonomously in a busy environment exercising common sense in problem-solving and meeting strict deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Google Workspace Canva and AI tools is essential along with a strong understanding of the Hong Kong media landscape. Previous experience in an educational setting or with special needs is a significant advantage.

Working Hours

  • This is a full-time role term-time only plus an additional week in August (i.e. duties will commence the week before school resumes each year).
  • Attendance at after-school or evening meetings and events will be required on occasion.
