Job Description:
In the role of Design Support Engineering Services you will provide technical administrative support for the development of the next generation networking technologies for mobile ad-hoc wireless communications systems. Specifically we are seeking a technical administrator that can help process engineering tasks within software tools that allow for the research documentation and use of commercial parts that are assembled into L3Harris products.
Essential Functions:
- Work with Microsoft Word and Excel to create engineering templates drawings specifications etc and release these documents within our PLM tool (e.g. Teamcenter). Experience with Teamcenter is beneficial but not necessary.
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate with individuals with varying technical backgrounds and understanding.
- Extremely organized with great attention to detail and excellent grammar skills.
- Must be able to work in a team and learn while on the job both from coworkers and on their own with minimal supervision.
- Interact positively with all levels within the organization including engineers co-workers and management while projecting a positive collaborative and professional attitude.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma with a minimum of 4 years related administrative experience or associate degree with a minimum of 0 to 2 years related administrative experience.
- Applicants must be self-motivated and willing to work within company defined processes.
- Good written verbal and presentation skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and Teams.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- A strong sense of urgency with the ability to monitor shifting priorities while responding and reacting to unexpected situations.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and to accept additional responsibilities as required.
- Must be focused on customer satisfaction the commitment to consistently generate a quality work product and to do whatever it takes to get the job done quickly and efficiently.
- Willing to work some extended hours when necessary including the occasional availability at a moments notice.
