POSITION SUMMARY:
In accordance with the policies procedure and standards of Chroma Hospitality Inc. and Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan and under the direct supervision of the Rooms Division Director the Sports and Leisure Manager Land/Resort Based is responsible the for planning organizing and managing all land-based and indoor sports and leisure operations of Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan including fitness facilities Crimzone Kids Center swimming pools beach facilities recreational grounds and organized indoor/outdoor activities. Ensures guest satisfaction safe facility operations team performance and achievement of revenue goals.
Scopes & Responsibilities:
MEETS AND EXCEEDS CUSTOMERS AND TEAM MEMBERS EXPECTATIONS by providing Unique Guest Experience
- Establishes and communicates customer service objectives which support achievements of Crimsons Mission and Vision.
- Monitors customer service levels and counsels employees with alternative methods of responding to customer requests.
- Ensures that employees receive the training necessary to provide Unique Guest Experience service.
- Determines customer delight level and needs by reviewing comment cards and talking to customers regularly.
- Provides staff with the skills training to be able to provide value-added service to customers.
- Performs other duties as required to provide Unique Guest Experience.
OPERATIONAL OVERSIGHT AND GUEST EXPERIENCE
- Supervise daily operations of the gym pools kids club and indoor/outdoor sports facilities.
- Ensure proper staff deployment and effective scheduling to meet guest demands.
- Maintain updated policies and procedures for all leisure activities. Conduct quality checks on guest experiences to ensure service consistency.
- Inspect sports and leisure facilities regularly and ensure timely reporting of repair and maintenance needs.
- Oversee inventory and proper use of sports and recreation equipment.
- Establish and communicate customer service objectives aligned with the resorts standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction through feedback channels comment cards and direct interaction.
- Develop recreational programs and activity schedules to enhance the guest experience for local and international clients.
SAFETY & RISK MANAGEMENT
- Ensure lifeguards and recreation staff are trained and certified in lifesaving CPR and first aid.
- Maintain full compliance with health safety and sanitation standards.
- Guarantee availability of safety equipment and emergency kits in all recreation areas.
- Conduct periodic drills and training for staff on emergency response.
FINANCIAL & REVENUE GENERATION
- Prepare annual budgets and monitor departmental revenues and expenses.
- Develop promotional activity packages in coordination with Sales & Marketing.
- Track performance against revenue targets and adjust strategies as needed.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT AND COLLABORATION
- Train and develop all staff for fitness pool and leisure operations.
- Conduct coaching and performance appraisals for professional growth.
- Ensure team members are trained in guest service excellence and safety compliance.
- Coordinate with Front Office Reservations and Sales for guest booking and activity arrangements.
- Report regularly to the Rooms Division Director on operational financial and staff performance.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keeps immediate superior promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established Hotel policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position.
- Prepares reports as necessary to develop a more informative database for improved Management decision-making and critical evaluation of activities.
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other Hotel employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate
- At all times projects a favorable image of Crimson Resort & Spa to the public.
- Performs any other duties and tasks that may be assigned by immediate superiors from time to time.
OTHER DUTIES
- COMPANY POLICIES and PROCEDURES: Adheres to the provisions outlined in the Employee Handbook Disciplinary Code and Rules and Regulations.
- ATTENDANCE: Adheres to the set procedures for attendance and timekeeping.

- GUEST RELATIONS: As assigned and at all opportunities assists guests directly and indirectly to resolve problems.
- LOST and FOUND: Fully aware of and comply with Lost and Found procedures at all times.
- EMERGENCY RESPONSE: Possesses full knowledge of emergency procedures.
- EQUIPMENT CARE: Ensures proper care and maintenance of equipment in the area of assignment.
- GROOMING and HYGIENE: Adheres to specified hygiene and personal appearance standards of the company.
- TRAINING and EMPLOYEE ACTIVITIES: Attends scheduled training and participates in company-initiated employee activities.
- ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS: Is fully aware of and complies with the Companys Environmental Policy and established rules and guidelines.
