Background Information:
The Patients Before Paperwork (Pb4P) initiative is a comprehensive program aimed at supporting innovative and creative digital solutions to make it easier for providers to deliver and connect people to care. Within a few years digital health tools will modernize clinical pathways such as those that are paper- or-fax-based and transform information sharing across the health system.
We are seeking two senior project control officers to provide communications support to project teams in advising planning and communicating about the various solutions that fall under the Pb4P umbrella of this role you will work closely with the Communications manager regional communications teams and various business partners project workstream partners (including customer experience user experience change management) project team and regional digital teams. Your contributions will help ensure understanding and awareness of the projects in order to drive adoption where applicable.
Responsibilities:
- Provide communications support to a large-scale provincial digital health project encompassing a number of initiatives
- Create high-quality communication strategies and ensure key deliverables are achieved and measured including the writing and editing of communication plans materials presentation content and web copy ensuring a brand appropriate and consistent tone and voice.
- Work closely with business partners (e.g. project workstream partners communications channel owners project team leadership regional teams etc.) to finalize and implement approved communications tactics e.g. draft web and newsletter articles develop pitch decks and information packages memos
- Manage communications specific workflows and deliver multiple communications initiatives effectively and on time
- Liaise with portfolio partners (including web team design team social media lead internal comms team and translations services) to ensure all communications products follow best practices and adhere to Ontario Health style guide
- Attend project meetings to gather as well as provide updates escalate where required identify risks and lead communications deliverables
Must Haves:
- 5 years experience working in project teams to deliver on communications plans and strategies
- 5 years experience Strong knowledge of stakeholder engagement planning
- 5 years experience Excellent writing editing communication and presentation abilities
- Bachelors degree in communications public relations/marketing or a related field with experience developing communication plans for corporate project and initiatives
