Whats the role

As a Senior Analyst you will support the delivery of high-quality performance insights through reporting and analytics aligned with the banks strategy and competitive landscape. You will partner with finance stakeholders across the organisation and prepare Board and Executive Committee materials on financial outcomes across end-to-end P&L balance sheet and capital management. This includes planning and forecasting for target setting strategic reviews and scenario analysis as well as ad-hoc analysis on market movements and competitor results. A key focus will be simplifying processes to eliminate non-value-add work and create capacity for actionable value-add analytics.

What do I need

  • 1-2 years of Banking or financial services experience desirable
  • Working towards or Chartered / CPA qualification desirable
  • High attention to detail and a strong control mindset with demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment
  • Extensive practical application of Excel skills; and experience with BI / reporting tools and large data sets desirable
  • Solid collaboration communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
  • Ability to respond and operate through on-going change - Commitment to continuous improvement and process optimisation whilst maintaining customer service
