Job Description

Contexte

As a Technical Expert you will join the Platform team and report directly to Hadrien Lead Architect.

You will play a pivotal role in strengthening Skaleets technical foundation. Your expertise will be instrumental in solving highly complex challenges driving impactful technological evolution and continuously improving the robustness performance and scalability of our Core Banking Platform.

In this role autonomy is essential. You will be a key contributor to modernizing the platform so it can support higher volumes of transactions greater redundancy and industry-grade stability. Your daily impact will directly shape the reliability and long-term resilience of Skaleets architecture.

You will also take on a Staff Engineerlevel mission: supporting mentoring and upskilling other squads fostering cross-team alignment and embodying an engineering mindset focused on excellence and continuous improvement.

Your future missions

• Share and disseminate your technical expertise within your team and across all Skaleet squads.

• Mentor engineers support their growth lead technical coaching sessions and help elevate engineering maturity across the organization.

• Propose and specify major technological advancements for our product ensuring they are aligned with scalability performance and long-term architectural goals.

• Solve complex problems across the entire platform and contribute to high-stakes technical decision-making.

• Implement features while adhering to the highest quality standards and promoting industry best practices.

• Modernize the software to handle higher transaction flows improve redundancy and strengthen system stability.

• Enhance our testing pyramid and ensure testing strategies scale with platform evolution.

• Conduct regular technical monitoring and keep the organization informed of emerging practices and tooling.

• Support production teams by investigating and resolving the most complex incidents contributing to a continuously more resilient system.

• Drive performance optimization initiatives especially in cloud and web environments ensuring the platform remains fast efficient and cost-effective.

Desired Profile

You are a great match if :

• Education : Masters degree from a top-tier engineering school.

• Experience : At least 6 years in complex enterprise software environments as a Technical Expert or Software Engineer with substantial experience in system performance optimizationideally in cloud and web contexts.

• Autonomy : You thrive in self-directed environments and enjoy taking initiative.

• Languages : Fluency in French and English both written and spoken.

• Mindset : Engineering-oriented rigorous and driven by problem-solving. You enjoy technical challenges have an entrepreneurial spirit and appreciate the fast pace of scale-ups.

• Collaboration : Strong ability to work with diverse teams excellent team player willing to mentor and support others.

• Bonus : Previous experience in international or distributed environments.
