Job Summary

  • Key Responsibilities :
  • Budgeting & Forecasting Prepare detailed annual budgets monthly forecasts and variance analysis.
  • Audit and Analysis - Refine charts of accounts for operating & corporate entities and should be able to understand P&L and balance sheets really well.
  • Database Management Maintain investor reporting databases and loan management platforms (Yardi proficiency required).
  • Deal Diligence Perform due diligence on new transactions including financial operational and market analysis.
  • Performance Tracking Track and analyze KPIs IRR cash-on-cash returns and other financial metrics.
  • Reporting Produce monthly quarterly and annual financial reports for management and investors.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Finance Capital Markets Investments Analytics and Technology teams.
  • Project Participation Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects and assist other finance teams as needed.
  • Requirements Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics Engineering or Mathematics from a top university.
  • Experience: 2 5 years in FP&A investment banking private equity or real estate finance.
  • Software Expertise: Strong proficiency in Yardi and Advance Excel Google sheets Bonus with Power BI.
  • Real Estate Knowledge: Direct exposure to multifamily assets in the U.S. real estate market.
  • Analytical Skills: Highly analytical detail-oriented and skilled in variance and KPI analysis.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare and present reports to senior stakeholders.
  • Work Ethic: Ability to handle multiple projects meet deadlines and work extended hours when necessary in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Advanced Degree: Masters in Finance Economics or Business preferred.
  • Certifications: CFA CA or CPA (completed or in progress) will be viewed favorably.
  • Private Equity Experience: Exposure to private equity capital structures and investor reporting highly desirable.
