Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day activities related to Purchase Vendor Development Outsourcing and Stores operations across PAN India.

  • Develop and maintain a centralized active vendor master including subcontractors.

  • Identify new products/services in the market and analyze cost-effectiveness; recommend introduction of cost-effective options to the Managing Director.

  • Negotiate and standardize rates for products and services across all locations (as feasible) in consultation with the MD.

  • Ensure cost and quality control of all materials and services; focus on continuous improvement.

  • Implement effective material controls and conduct material audits at sites during and after project completion.

  • Ensure timely delivery of quality materials and services to all sites.

  • Ensure timely accurate release of purchase orders and contracts as per policies and processes.

  • Certify supplier bills on time and forward them to Accounts as per defined processes.

  • Continuously evaluate vendors and subcontractors based on feedback from Project Managers and Regional Heads.

  • Guide and train Purchase Executives/Assistants; assign and monitor daily activities.

  • Maintain strict adherence to all procurement procedures; ensure all documentation is up-to-date organized and audit-ready.

  • Coordinate regularly with Accounts QS and Project teams to ensure smooth workflow.

  • Ensure timely communication internally and externally.

  • Prepare and submit MIS reports within defined timelines in prescribed formats including daily submission of timesheets to LRS.

  • Carry out any additional assignments entrusted by management.

  • Effective Vendor Development and Management with multiple vendors for each product/service.

  • Continuous improvement in commercial terms; cost savings as a key performance metric.

  • Timely delivery of materials and services to project sites.

  • Accurate and timely submission of MIS reports and other required documentation.
