Job Description - Oracle EPBCS Consultant

Key Responsibilities

Design develop implement and support Oracle EPBCS (EPM Cloud) applications.
Work on Planning & Budgeting methodologies including Workforce Planning Capital Asset Planning and Financial Statement Planning.
Design and develop Hyperion Planning forms scripts workflows and business rules.
Perform end-to-end automation of Hyperion application tasks.
Handle performance tuning optimization and recovery of Hyperion applications.
Develop and maintain Essbase applications including calculation scripts and business rules.
Write and manage Calc Scripts MaxL ESSCMD partition scripts and report scripts.
Design and implement security models across EPM applications.
Integrate FDMEE and ODI with EPM applications.
Perform Unix Shell scripting for automation and operational tasks.
Proactively identify troubleshoot and resolve issues before escalation.
Interact with business users to gather requirements resolve issues and provide functional support.
Stay updated with new technologies and best practices in Oracle EPM Cloud.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8 years of experience in Hyperion EPM administration design development and support.
3-4 years of strong hands-on experience in Oracle EPBCS / EPMBCS.
Strong expertise in Hyperion Planning Essbase and EPBCS modules.
In-depth knowledge of Planning & Budgeting processes.
Experience in workflow and metadata design in EPBCS.
Proficiency in Calc Scripts Business Rules MaxL ESSCMD.
Experience with FDMEE and ODI integrations.
Good exposure to Unix Shell scripting.
Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
