expansion into the Paints & Coatings industry. With strong financial strength a legacy of operational excellence and deep trust
in the marketplace the organization is building a modern premium paints business backed by advanced product formulations
robust quality systems and a growing portfolio across interior emulsions exterior coatings enamels primers and putties.
The paints vertical is currently in a high-growth scale-up phase with significant investments in manufacturing capabilities
product development brand building and distribution expansion. The company is sharply focused on establishing itself as a
top-tier premium paints brand by strengthening market penetration building strong dealer–applicator networks and
expanding across high-potential regions.
South India has been identified as a strategic growth engine due to its market maturity diverse customer segments and strong
retail ecosystem. To accelerate this regional expansion the organization is now seeking a dynamic high-impact sales leader to
drive the South India business build market presence scale distribution and contribute directly to the company’s long-term
growth vision.

Role Purpose:
This is a strategic leadership mandate focused on driving regional sales performance scaling market presence building multi
tier distribution ecosystems and strengthening the brand’s footprint across Southern India. The role demands a seasoned
sales professional with deep market understanding strong channel relationships proven team leadership capabilities and the
ability to deliver business outcomes in a competitive paints landscape.

Core Responsibilities:
1. Regional Sales Strategy & Business Growth
Lead sales operations and deliver revenue market share and profitability targets for the South India region.
Develop a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the business’s short-term scale-up plans and long-term growth
vision.
Identify high-potential territories micro-markets and expansion opportunities across retail project and applicator
segments.
2. Distribution & Channel Expansion
Build and strengthen dealer retailer and distributor networks across urban semi-urban and emerging towns.
Enhance distributor ROI secondary sales efficiency and supply-chain alignment.
Implement retail visibility product placement and counter activation programs to strengthen brand presence.
3. Team Leadership & Execution Excellence
Lead mentor and develop a high-performing regional sales team ensuring strong execution discipline and
capability building.
Implement structured performance metrics reviews and KPI-driven processes to elevate sales productivity.
Drive field effectiveness through beat planning customer coverage pipeline management and CRM adoption.
4. Market Intelligence & Competitive Strategy
Monitor competitor activities pricing schemes product innovations and market movements.
Use insights to design differentiated strategies promotional programs and market development initiatives.
Forecast demand track category trends and provide inputs for product and pricing decisions.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Marketing Supply Chain Product Development and Finance teams to support new launches
campaigns and GTM initiatives.
Coordinate regional brand activations painter engagement programs and targeted promotions to drive sales uplift.

Candidate Profile
15–25 years of experience in Paints / Coatings / Building Materials / Adhesives / Construction Chemicals.
Strong understanding of South India markets with established dealer–distributor–applicator relationships.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth building distribution and leading large sales teams across multiple
states.
Strong negotiation skills communication capability business acumen and execution focus.
Experience in premium or value-plus product categories is preferred.
Entrepreneurial mind-set with a passion for market-building and leading high-growth mandates.
