Role Overview

Exclusive to Reo Group this is a highly exciting role within a large growth focussed business. Due to a key employee embarking on maternity leave a rare opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre technical compliance and reporting specialist to step in as the 2IC to the Group Financial Controller and lead the statutory compliance function.

This is a highly visible high-impact role offering exceptional exposure across the entire finance function and senior leadership team. Youll sit at the intersection of the CEO and CFO gaining end-to-end visibility of strategic initiatives while working in a collaborative nimble team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Statutory Reporting and Compliance across the Group in accordance with IFRS
  • Own the audit process and stakeholder relationships
  • Drive statutory accounts preparation and consolidation
  • Oversee and enhance tax calculations and reporting (with external advisor support)
  • Flex into treasury technical accounting projects and other priority areas as the business evolves

Candidate Profile

This role is a brilliant long term contract opportunity for a candidate with solid exposure to Financial Reporting and Controls who is looking for an opportunity to secure a long term contract role before Christmas and with a start date of early January with handover and support at both ends of the contract. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Finance Manager / Financial Controller / Financial Reporting Manager within a medium to large size business with excellent communication skills and a Technical Accounting appreciation.
