Job Description
The Project
ACCIONA has been selected to deliver Western Harbour Tunnel Stage 2 Sydneys third harbour crossing. The new Western Harbour Tunnel (WHT) will connect to WestConnex at the Rozelle Interchange cross underneath Sydney Harbour between Birchgrove and Waverton and connect with the Warringah Freeway near North Sydney. Project scope includes:
- Construction of approximately 4.8 kilometres of mainline tunnels with three lanes in each direction
- Civil Mechanical and Electrical fitout of Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunnels
- Surface level work including on and off ramps and tie-in work to the Warringah Freeway
As a Junior Document controller you will support the team with controlling all drawings specifications plans procedures correspondence and reports to ensure only current and authorised versions are used. You support the team ensuring that all relevant data systems records and documentation are integrated and accessible in a timely and consistent manner.
this is an entry level position full training will be provided.
Specific Tasks Include
- Support stakeholders in document management and document control systems.
- Verify receipt of all incoming documents against accompanying transmittals.
- Maintain secure document storage of permits contracts and project documentation.
- Record check and track all incoming and outgoing project documents.
- Provide software training guidance assistance and configuration.
- Conduct audits of document management systems and records
Required Skills and Competencies
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others with strong collaboration and communication skills
- Proficient with MS Office - specifically Word Excel and Outlook
- Must be energetic with a positive can-do attitude
