Job Summary
As Assistant Financial Controller you will have the opportunity to enhance our financial systems and procedures ensuring compliance with Accors policies and internal controls. You will oversee cash flow management credit approvals and timely reporting all while engaging with department heads to drive profitability. Your expertise will be crucial in implementing measures to streamline operations and recover outstanding debts efficiently.
You will also play a vital role in nurturing talent within our Finance team by assisting with recruitment training and performance management. Your contribution will help build a skilled high-performing workforce and foster a culture of growth and engagement. Qualifications :
- Tertiary qualification in Finance and/or Accounting.
- A minimum of 3 years previous leadership experience in a similar position within a large organisation.
- Have a strong analytical mind and finance acumen to monitor manage and control costs.
- Experience with PAYG GST Payroll Tax Workers Compensation BAS preparation Accounts Payable and Superannuation.
- Proficient in accounting software; experience with Opera Zambion Purchase Plus and Sun is advantageous.
