Description
In this role you will be responsible for providing exceptional orthopedic services ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to assess diagnose and treat a variety of orthopedic conditions. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the quality of care we provide and the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality orthopedic surgical care to patients
- Assess and diagnose a range of orthopedic conditions
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
- Participate in continuing education and training opportunities
Requirements
- MD or DO degree with specialization in Orthopedic Surgery
- Associate-level experience in a clinical setting
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Strong surgical skills and knowledge of orthopedic procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus
Schedule: Call coverage specific dates
Clinical Setting: ER med-surg and clinic
General orthopedic procedures
Hip fractures and reductions required
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
