What you will do:
- Update and maintain project files to include project setup forms billing requests customer invoices and other relevant documentation.
- Submit and monitor status of request
- Ensure accurate quote and fulfillment data and communication through quality process
- Lead and direct sales promotions to drive and recognize customer service goals
- Stimulate project sales growth with focus on lighting solutions within the electrical distribution industry
- Develop direct rapport with customers to understand issues and internal improvement areas.
- Update product selection tools and attend training seminars including those related to lighting systems and technologies.
- Provide back-up support to program leader for product line related to basic technical and application queries including applications.
- Other duties and/or projects as assigned
What you will bring:
- Electrical lighting Industrial and/or distribution experience preferred but not required
- Bachelors degree (B.A or B.S.) from a 4-year college or University; or equivalent from four-year college; and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience must include at least one of the following: electrical distributor and or vendor representative.
- Experience in various software applications that are among the most current technologies and products used in the industry.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form
- Must be proficient in MS Word Excel Power Point Outlook and the Internet
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Must pay attention to detail be flexible and adaptable be technical and adaptable to technology.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Requires standing walking and lifting for extended periods.
- Use of PPE as required.
- Mix of warehouse and office work environments
Location:This role is on-site in Honolulu HI Branch
Work hours:8:00am 5:00pm Monday through Friday
Salary Range:
This is a non-exempt position and pays between $24.23 - $32.31 per hour. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location within Hawaii. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
