Job Summary
Job Title: Project Superintendent

About the Role
The Project Superintendent is responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities and ensuring projects are delivered safely on schedule within budget and in compliance with contract requirements. This role is essential to successful project execution and requires strong leadership coordination and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities

Manage daily on-site operations from pre-construction through project closeout

Coordinate subcontractors trades and field personnel to meet project schedules

Enforce site safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA standards

Interpret construction drawings specifications and schedules for accurate execution

Maintain daily reports logs and quality control documentation

Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for owners engineers inspectors and subcontractors

Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize delays

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and contract compliance
Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or a related field (preferred)

Minimum 5 years of field experience including proven experience as a Superintendent on commercial or heavy civil projects

Strong leadership communication and team coordination skills

Proficiency with construction documentation and project management software

Thorough knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations

OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred
