Parkland School Division is seeking to fill 2 Temporary Part-Time Education Assistant positions to support intervention programming for students in Grades 14 across Parkland School Division . The successful candidates will provide targeted literacy and numeracy intervention supports communicate regularly with teachers regarding student programming needs and track learning progress through observation using provided templates. This position requires travel to various sites within the Division. Specific locations and schedules will be determined based on operational needs.

Courses or training in Attention Deficit Disorder Special Needs Disorders English as a Second Language Behaviour Management Crisis Prevention Nonviolent Crisis Intervention and Food Handling and Preparation would be an asset
Knowledge of office equipment
Knowledge of computers

Hours of Work: 10 hours/week
Pay Rate:$25.35-28.39/hr (Pay Group 3) for EA Certified Employees and $24.17/hr-$26.98/hr for EA Non-Certified Employees (Pay Group 2)
