Role description:

Arcadis is currently seeking a Contract Administrator to assist the Civil Engineering team with operational and administrative activities with respect to project coordination operation and delivery. This position is based in Ottawa Ontario.

This role sits within our global business area Places. We work with our clients around the world to create support and enhance smart safe and sustainable places where people live work learn and thrive. Places impact on the quality of peoples lives. Whether new homes shops workplaces schools and hospitals manufacturing research and development facilities or data and distribution centers. Role accountabilities:

As a Contract Administrator youll play a key role in supporting project coordination and delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing issuing and managing tender documents
  • Organizing and maintaining contract records and documentation
  • Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders on contract-related matters
  • Preparing entering tracking and reducing letters of credit
  • Supporting project close-out activities
  • Handling invoices and ensuring proper distribution to clients
  • Supporting health and safety plan preparation and equipment coordination
  • Performing general administrative duties (data entry correspondence filing)
  • Assisting with general office-related administrative activities as part of the local admin team

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering(required)
  • Minimum of 2 years of administration experience or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • Experience in contract administration or project coordination (asset)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word Outlook Excel PowerPoint)
  • Post-secondary education in project management or administration (asset)
  • Understanding of project management concepts
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing files and records
  • Professional communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Bluebeam/ CAD an asset
  • Valid drivers license and access to a personal vehicle(required)

The salary range for this position is $65000 - $75000. The base salary represents Arcadis hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors such as location skills experience and qualification for the role.
