Colliers is seeking an experienced General Manager- Business Development to lead and grow our Fitout Design business across India. The ideal candidate will have strong industry connections an established network across major Occupiers and a proven track record of driving large-scale business growth in the Real Estate and Interior Design sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a national business development strategy for the Interior Design vertical.
- Leverage strong industry connects to secure partnerships with top Interior Designers Large Occupiers Architects contractors brokers and corporate clients across India.
- Identify new business opportunities in Commercial and luxury interior segments.
- Drive end-to-end business acquisition from lead generation to closure.
- Build strong relationships with CXOs senior leadership teams and key decision-makers in the real estate ecosystem.
- Collaborate with internal design project execution and operations teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
- Track market trends competitor activities and emerging opportunities to strengthen market positioning.
- Represent the company at industry events exhibitions and networking forums.
Requirements
- 10-12 years of experience in Business Development preferably in Interior Design Project Management Architecture Construction or related industries.
- Strong established industry network across India especially with Interior Designers brokers architects and corporate clients.
- Proven ability to drive business growth and close high-value deals.
- Excellent communication negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with design project and operations teams.
- Strong strategic thinking and market understanding.
- Willingness to travel across India as required.
Qualifications :
MBA /BBA or equivalent degree in Business Sales Marketing or Real Estate (preferred).
