Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Conduct day-to-day operations of the UH West Oahu Office of Global
  • Engagement.
  • Assists in managing and directing assigned services programs and operations
  • related to International Programs and/or International Students.
  • Work with other UHWO Staff on matters regarding international affairs -
  • Coordinate Outbound & Inbound International Programs at UH West Oahu.
  • Functional knowledge of administrative and organizational processes as applied
  • to the management of operations services facilities and programs


Minimum Qualifications:


  1. Possession of a baccalaureate degree in education communication humanities or related field and 1 year(s)ofprogressivelyresponsibleprofessionalexperiencewithresponsibilities for providing educational services; or any equivalent combination of education and/or professional work experience which provides the required education knowledge skills and abilities as indicated.
  2. Demonstrated ability in program development skills especially in the areas of needs assessment design and evaluation.
  3. Prior experience working/interacting with international students (2 years or more)
  4. Prior experience coordinating international short-term programs (2 years or more)
  5. Ability to work outside normally scheduled business hours including evenings and/or weekends as necessitated by branch requirements.
  6. Must be able to work in-person at the University of Hawaii - West Oahu Campus
